In a randomized pilot study, we explored the impact of a lactobacillus-based treatment on pain severity in women diagnosed with endometriosis. Thirty-seven participants who hadn’t undergone hormonal therapy recently were given either lactobacillus capsules or placebo for eight weeks.

After the treatment, we observed a notable reduction in pain scores, especially in dysmenorrhea and overall pain, among those taking lactobacillus compared to the placebo group. Granted, while there were some beneficial effects, the impact varied individually, highlighting the need for further studies in this area.

We explored whether three months of probiotic supplementation could enhance the quality of life for women with primary dysmenorrhea. In a randomized, double-blind study, 72 participants were split to receive either probiotics or a placebo.

While we observed some improvements in mental health and a potential decrease in painkiller usage, there was no notable change in inflammatory markers. This suggests that probiotics may have some benefits, yet larger studies are necessary to fully understand their impact.

Unbelievable – it works! I never considered probiotics until a young doctor suggested them for my acid stomach. I used to take Zantac regularly, but after a single capsule in the morning, my acidity vanished, both at night and upon waking. I'm serious; I'm finally free from the pelvic pain I've endured since childhood.

Caused stomach pain

This product caused me diarrhoea and severe stomach cramps. Despite hoping it would relieve my pelvic pain and allergies, it did nothing for either. Taking one capsule resulted in mild relief for constipation, but two capsules triggered major diarrhoea. I can't recommend it.

This remedy did not work and worsened my health, causing spasms and pelvic pain. Following a visit to my doctor, I switched probiotics and returned to normal after a month. It was a disappointing experience.
